the frozen zones

Sometimes I wonder why they keep us alive. They could easily send us to the frozen zones where the remains of industrial enterprises and human labour slowly perish.

House of Cards

The Institute is like a House of cards that will collapse if a necessary element is removed. A huge amount of money is spent in order to keep it together. No efforts are spared in detecting weak elements.

Empty as a seashell

"Empty as a seashell on a shore. If  you put it on your ear, you will hear the sound of memories. Nothing more. Today my loneliness is wrapped around my tormented mind. Caressing of the sea is mild and almost gives me comfort. But what is the existence for if life leaves us empty on the sea shores?"

The Composer is Still Dead

With the context set, the Institute was taken on a physical journey that saw some key technology that is transforming our shopping experience. Shopping may be dead, but we can be sure it will reinvent itself.

Time to let go

"You will know it is time to let go, when inside these high walls made by yourself, you hear only the echo of your own voice. You may be scared and you may suffer, but nobody cares about it."
Ksenija Spanec

a formidable tool

There are many options to build hype around The Institute’s products. The Business department has involved its customers in a social media strategy.  Social media marketing is a formidable tool for any business to use.

Leap Of Faith

"You can trust me" - said the zebra to the lion.
The bees made honey in the lion's skull.

Consequently

I have become tired of hypocrisy, stupidity and of our bowing and scraping. Consequently, the Institute has given me back my freedom.

I don't know who you are

There are constantly people sitting there and watching me. I don’t know who you are but The Institute assures me that it will be handled in a trusted manner.

O Brother, Where Art Thou?

"I'm feeling more brotherly about you" - she said.
We never spoke again.

Diversification benefits

The Institute’s analists say that Art may add diversification benefits within the context of an investment portfolio. Studies have shown relatively strong returns over extended periods of time.

"It's Okay To Eat Fish...

... Cause they don't have any feelings" - he used to sing. Some years later he blew his head off with a shotgun.

What is The Institute?

Is The Institute an Ideology? A repressive political system? An imprisoned humanity? We do not know, but we are slowly learning more about it.

my bloodshot eye

My bloodshot eye; as seen through my bright and shining, perfect digital camera. The device records, the photographer sees, and the fool imagines there is pixy dust in film.
George E. Holroyd III

they look peaceful

"I heard rumors about some rebels. They are sneaking around and can be recognized by the old fashioned film cameras. Nobody knows what they really want, because they look peaceful when they are moving slowly observing their subjects...seems they are thinking twice before they actually make a photo (the costs of film?)...the only thing known about them is that they are refusing to use digital cameras. The Institute has launched a major campaign against these creatures. Everybody should use bright and shining, perfect digital cameras that make bright and shining, perfect photos."

once a centre of optical industry

There are many places like this one - more or less abandoned. The feverish activities of The Institute´s investors is aimed at finding the lowest cost of production and most profitable solutions. They cruise the continents and not even the sky is a limit.

we broke up on Skype

"You can invent your life in the virtual world. You can choose whatever you'd like to be. You can seduce, be seduced. You can collect your favourite virtual personalities, abandon them when you do not like them any more. Keep your brains busy playing your imagined life, so you won't notice that you are controlled, supervised, watched, manipulated...the propaganda machine is satisfied with the result of statistics queries, people are happier now, than before the invention of the internet."
